The Replogle Reso 9 1/2″ Series biscuit-bridge style cone is hand spun by Mike Replogle in California using a special hardened aluminum alloy. This is the OEM replacement cone for Dobros manufactured since the late 1960’s (9.4375″ net cone diameter) .
The Replogle Reso Classic “10 1/2” Series Spider-bridge style cone is hand spun in California. Mike Replogle uses a special hardened aluminum alloy for maximum strength, tone, projection and sustain. This is the OEM replacement cone for Dobros manufactured since the late 1960’s and all the way through the Gibson days.
Note: The Classi “10 1/2″ spider-style resonator cone measures an actual 10.5625″ net cone diameter. The edges may be trimmed by a skilled luthier to fit a smaller 10.5″ diameter sound well, but we recommend using the Replogle D15 cone instead, with the smaller diameter of 10.4375”.
